My favorite place in St Pete. Everyone who works there is so kind and they make you feel like a VIP! Being able to bring my pup is a huge plus. I could go there for coffee and stay for cocktails... truly the best spot in DTSP. Best coffee, best cocktails... I mean just the BEST!

Intermezzo is the kind of spot that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The coffee is genuinely good — rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. They offer some really cool flavor options too, which makes it easy to step outside your usual order without feeling like you’re taking a risk. The space itself is a standout. It has that perfect artsy, upscale vibe: creative but polished, welcoming but elevated. Every design detail feels intentional, from the furniture to the lighting, and it creates an atmosphere that’s both inspiring and comfortable. The staff are just as much a part of the experience — kind, attentive, and clearly happy to be there, which adds an easy warmth to the whole place. Whether you’re dropping in for a quick coffee or spending an afternoon catching up on work, Intermezzo has a way of making a regular day feel a little more special. A beautiful blend of good coffee, great design, and a genuinely cool energy.

Best coffee & coffee cocktails in the entire city. No contest. We travel all over & always make coffee shops a priority to visit. The only other shop that might compete is Mad Cap in Detroit. Intermezzo is *chef’s kiss*. They have the best pour overs, cortados, lattes and espresso martinis. I drool just thinking about them!

Literally eat and drink coffee here almost every morning when I am in town. The people who own and run this place are the best! Love love love the latest food additions for grab and go, but also the pop up food choices as well! My favorites are this sausage danish croissant thingy, as well as - dirty chai gingerbread latte. - honey lavender latte, and - carrot cake latte :)

I've been to a lot of coffee shops in St Pete, and Intermezzo is the one I can't help but continually return to. Why? It's simple; The energy is immaculate. In my dozens of times here, I have never once caught a bad vibe. The people that come here are so friendly — I have made many a friend here. And the place is flooded with natural light, which of course provides the perfect backdrop for all the wonderful smiles you are sure to catch when you are here. And the best part of Intermezzo... the team! They're happy to be here. They don't hate their jobs, which for 2025 in America is saying something since the reality seems to be that, well, most people really loathe their jobs. Not the case here. The service here is excellent. There is a caring touch to it. If you come here regularly, the baristas will come to know your name by heart. And of course, the drinks are great too. The matcha latte, the cold brew, the teas, the cocktails — all delicious and presented beautifully in a nice glass. The only thing to be desired is an organic whole milk option (though they do have almond milk and oat milk). But no other coffee shop really has that anyway. All in all... Great people, great drinks, happy place. What more could you want in a coffee shop?

By far our favorite bar in St Pete. The best espresso martini and French 75 we’ve ever had. After moving 2 years ago, we came back and it’s just as good as ever! Highly recommend stopping in for a cocktail here
